Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time experienced Physician Assistant. This position will include both the OR and the clinic. The new PA will be part of a team that will work with several Orthopaedic Surgeons by supporting them in the OR and the clinic. This PA will run their own orthopaedic clinic (new and follow-up patients) and will refer to surgeons for consults.
The new PA will first assist on all areas of orthopaedics which include: sports, knee, shoulders, spine, hips and general fracture care. Responsibilities include: first assisting, evaluating and treating orthopaedic injuries, fracture care (casting, splinting, joint aspirations and injections), post and pre-operative care, hospital rounds, writing prescriptions and managing records. There is minimal call.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified, highly motivated and have a positive personality. The group desires an experienced Orthopaedic PA only.
