Board-Certified and Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The new Physician Assistant will work at a state-of-the-art facility that is adjacent to the hospital. This position is a split between the office and the clinic. The position will have focus on total joints and sports medicine. The Physician Assistant will have the opportunity to run their own clinic. The doctor is well-established and enjoys an excellent reputation in the community.
Call is 1/7. The Physician Assistant will provide patient evaluation and education, first assist, injections, aspirations, fracture care, writing scripts, coordinate with PT, rounds and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting.
Successful Physician Assistant should be NCCPA-Certified, enjoys surgery and is confident and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Physician Assistants must have some experience. The group prefers that the Physician Assistant has ties to the region. The Physician Assistant must have excellent interpersonal skills. The location is a small town that is two and a half hours to Madison. This location has excellent schools. The area offers a great lifestyle, low cost of living and an excellent education system.
