Multi-Specialty Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their team. This Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will be working in an Urgent Care Clinic with a strong focus on muscular skeletal injuries. The newly hired Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will diagnose and treat common muscular skeletal problems. Common injuries include sprain, strains, fractures, wound care and post-op problems. Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners must have a VA license or one pending.
Successful Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners should be NCCPA-Certified, highly motivated and hard working. The Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners need to have some experience! Experience in ER, urgent care, primary care or family medicine would be fine! The position is 42 hours per week (four ten-hour shifts). There is no call, but some weekend rotation (one in four is maximum).
The location is in Lynchburg which has several colleges, cultural activities, restaurants, numerous sports activities and reasonable cost of living. Compensation: Base salary range is open (depends on experience).
