Orthopaedic Group seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their team. The position is focused on treating patients with muscular skeletal problems with emphasis on sports related injuries. The new PA/NP will work directly with a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. The position is 100% clinic based except, if desired, there is the option to be one day in the OR. The experienced orthopaedic PA/NP will see both new and existing patients and run their own clinic. Call is minimal (phone only).
The new PA’s/NP’s day to day responsibilities include: patient evaluations, injections, removing casts and pins, reductions, first assist (optional) consultation, rounds and patient evaluation and education, writing prescriptions and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. Candidates must be Board-Certified and have direct orthopaedic clinic experience.
Richmond is a city of 200,000 and has numerous universities, great shopping, trendy boutiques, restaurants, numerous sports and entertainment attractions, outdoor pursuits among one of the nation’s largest river park systems and a treasure trove of historic landmarks. The location has reasonable cost of living.
Compensation: Base salary range is open (depends on experience). Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
