Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician with an Interventional Pain Fellowship seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The group has a state-of-the-art Physical Therapy Center, Pain Management Center and a modern medical complex. The facility has Digital X-Ray and EMR. This group is a high-volume practice that handles all musculoskeletal injuries. The Physician Assistant will treat chronic shoulder, knees and back issues. They will also perform injections for knee and shoulders (small joints). The position will be a total of 40 hours (3 12 hour shifts, plus one eight hour shift, alternating weeks).
- Office/Clinic – new patient evaluations and follow-up
- There is no call or weekends
- Injections including trigger point
- Pain management (musculoskeletal evaluations)
- Medication management
- Post-operative H&P’s
- Writing scripts
- Patient education and evaluation
- Evaluate X-ray and MRI
They will train a new Physician Assistant that has a strong interest in chronic musculoskeletal injuries (clinic based) and excellent interpersonal skills. The location is roughly a half hour south of Woodbridge. There is excellent compensation and benefits package.
