Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. The new PA will be part of a fast moving team working directly with a Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. Cases include almost all total joints as well as some general cases. This position will include both surgical first assist (OR) and the clinic. The PA’s responsibilities include: handling H&P’s and provide surgical first assist, removing casts and pins, perform joint aspiration and injections, consultation and patient evaluation and education, and review lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.
Preference will be for experienced orthopaedic candidates. Candidates must be NCCPA-Certified and have a TX license or be close to receiving one. The group will consider a new local graduate if they have an orthopaedic rotation with total joints focus. Local candidates are preferred. The location is in a beautiful suburb of the Dallas, TX area.
Compensation: Base salary range is open, plus a bonus. Additionally, there is a full benefits package that includes vacation, one week CME with allowance, LTD, medical, dental, vision, 401k, HSA and profit sharing etc.
