Description

Multi-Specialty Center seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in their Orthopedic Urgent Care Center.  The position focus is all types of muscular skeletal injuries.  Types of injuries include sprains, strains, fractures etc.  The group has a state-of-the-art Diagnostic Center including Digital X-Ray and full EMR.  The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will work independently seeing both new and follow-up patients and perform clinic procedures such as reducing fractures, aspirating joints, cortisone  injections and wound care.  The position is 40 hours (five-day work week).  The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner must have flexibility in hours to be able to work some nights until 7:00 p.m., but again, this will be a total of 40 hours.

 

Successful Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner must be Board-Certified and must have direct orthopedic clinic experience and have a Texas license or one pending.  The location is in a beautiful area of San Antonio.  Physician Assistants/Nurse Practitioners should be from the region.
