Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Las Vegas, NV (Providers with Detox and Rehab Experience Preferred) Employed or 1099 Status

We are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work for a psychiatric practice in a RTC setting in Las Vegas, NV. The provider would work 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and conduct one new psychiatric evaluation per hour and follow-up med/checks run approximately every 20 minutes. The typical age range is 18-35 and most suffer from substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders such as PTSD, depression, anxiety and personality disorders. The levels of care are Medical Detox, PHP, IOP and Outpatient. The Provider can work on a 1099 contract basis or W2 employee status depending upon the providers needs and compensation requirements. The base salary range is negotiable depending upon experience, but starts in the $140,000-$155,000+ range with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision,401K with match, CME Allowance, and paid time off for CME. Malpractice insurance in covered under the companies umbrella policy. Signing Bonus and Relocation Allowance are also part of the package. 1099 rate is negotiable between $80-$90 per hour with malpractice coverage. The relocation allowance is typically provided with paid receipts so it is not taxable. Additional details are listed below:
Provider Duties
• Performs psych evaluations, detox management, and MAT as per SOP
• Orders labs and other clinically appropriate testing and prescribes medications and treatments
• Leads the development and implementation of treatment plans
• Consult with other physicians/clinicians about each patient’s specific need and refers to specialists as necessary
• Documents all patient contact accurately and timely in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Participates as an active member of the clinical team
• Other duties as assigned including but not limited to participate on clinical/medical committees, providing education and quality review.
Job Requirements
• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred
• Comply with all applicable laws to physicians including HIPAA and title 42 CFR
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), bedside manner and time management skills
• Demonstrate effective teamwork
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with persons from diverse socioeconomic, education, racial, ethnic and professional backgrounds
• Computer literate with the ability to appropriately utilize EMR system
• Organize and prioritize workload to provide high quality care and meet deadlines
• Meet and maintain facility credentialing and privileging requirements
• Consistently demonstrate positive customer service attitude
• Maintain the highest ethical and moral standards among all – employees, contractors, patients and members of the general public
• Travel between facilities as necessary
• Willing to work evening hours and weekends
• Upholds the policies and procedures of the facility
Licensure Requirements
• Current, unrestricted NV license
• Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certificate
• Current, unrestricted DEA Certification
• Current BLS Certification required (ACLS preferred)
