The new Physician Assistant will directly support two Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeons. The position includes both the OR and the clinic. Case load includes total joints, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, shoulder replacement and fractures.
Responsibilities include: pre and post-operative H&P’s, joint injections, writing scripts, removing casts and pins, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. Successful Physician Assistant should be NCCPA-Certified, highly motivated, hard working and work well in a team-oriented environment. The group prefers a new Physician Assistant graduate that has a strong passion for orthopedics and that has ties to the NJ area. At a minimum, the Physician Assistant should have done an orthopedic rotation.
The location is in a great area of Morris County, NJ (Northern NJ) which offers easy access to NYC culture, arts, great restaurants and universities! Base salary: depends on experience. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
