The position is open due to expansion. The new PA will handle general orthopaedic cases and the position is a combination of OR and clinic. Specific responsibilities include: OR (performing first assists), post and pre-operative care, H&P’s, rounding, injections, casting and splinting, writing prescriptions, ordering tests and managing records. There is no call and virtually no weekends. If the PA is brought in for extra time after 6:00 p.m. or on a weekend, they are paid extra. The group has their own state-of-the-art Physical Therapy Department.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified. This group will train a new PA that has a passion for orthopaedics. The PA must have excellent interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and procedural-oriented. Candidates should be from region.
