This position will be 100% clinic based. The new Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will run their own Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic. Cases will include new and existing patients and consists of a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture care, aspirations, injections and providing patient education. Successful candidate should be Board-Certified. Previous orthopedic experience is required, especially fracture care experience. Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with experience in ER or Urgent Care that have orthopedic experience, would also be fine! This is a full-time position which consists of four ten-hour day shifts (Monday through Friday) and no call.
