Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full time Physician Assistant that is NCCPA-Certified. The new Physician Assistant will work directly with a Spine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This doctor handles a strong volume of spine cases and is familiar with the latest minimally invasive techniques. The position will consist of surgical and clinic. Responsibilities include: first assist, pre and post H&P’s, write scripts, coordinate with PT/OT, consultation, rounding and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The group is located in a modern facility and they have their own PT/OT onsite. This position has no call.
Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. The group prefers candidates with some orthopedic experience or a newer graduate with strong interest in orthopedic spine (an orthopedic rotation is required). The location is in a beautiful smaller town that is within three hours to Denver. The area provides excellent quality of life for the outdoor lover.
