Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Total Joints Fellowship seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. This position will include both the clinic and the OR. The newly-hired PA will run their own orthopaedic clinic in conjunction with the Total Joints Doctor. Cases will include new and existing patients and consist of a variety of knee, hip and uni-knee replacement and some revisions. Responsibilities include: H&P’s, injury evaluation, fracture care, aspirations, injections, rounds and providing patient education. Successful candidate should be certified/eligible, highly motivated and hard working. Previous orthopaedic experience is preferred but will train a recent graduate with an orthopaedic rotation and a strong interest in working with total joints.
The newly-hired PA needs to be an independent thinker, able to work well in a fast-paced environment and needs to have excellent interpersonal skills. The location is an upscale Boston suburb. The area has great school systems and is a terrific location to raise a family. Salary range is based on experience level. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
