This doctor’s practice is focused on spine with some cranial cases. The new PA/NP will work at a Neurosurgical Center of Excellence. The group is involved with the most advanced minimally invasive surgical procedures.
The doctor feels comfortable training a new PA/NP that has excellent communications skills and has a strong desire for neurosurgery. The position includes both surgical and the office. The new PA/NP will also provide patient evaluation and education, first assist, writing scripts, coordinate with PT, rounds and reviewing lab results in a clinic setting. The facility is located in a modern medical complex.
Successful candidate should be Board-Certified. New graduates or soon-to-be graduates are welcomed to apply. NPs must be an RNFA. The location is within 90 plus minutes of the Baton Rouge area; this city has several universities (LSU, A&M and Southern University), metro airport, culture and a very reasonable cost of living. The location has easy access to the Gulf of Mexico and provides great all year-round outdoor living, especially for a water lover.
Compensation: Salary is open (entry level), plus a bonus. Additionally, there is an excellent full benefits package provided.
