Description

The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will work directly with a very well-established and busy Board-Certified and Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon whose focus is hip arthroscopy, sports medicine and total joint replacement (hips, knees and shoulders).  He utilizes the latest technology and most advanced procedures and techniques.  The group is located in a very modern facility that has Digital X-ray, EMR and ASC.  The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will have both OR and clinic responsibilities.  Specific responsibilities include: evaluation of injuries, injections, reductions, aspirations, pre and post H&P’s, surgical first assist, casting, patient education, writing scripts, ordering and reviewing tests.  The new Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will see their-own patients, run a full clinic and work independently!  There is minimal call if any!

 

Successful candidate should have solid orthopedic Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner experience, or the group will train a new local candidate that has, at a minimum, completed an orthopedic rotation, prior experience in Ortho Tech., RNFA and ATC.  Candidates must be Board-Certified and have an Illinois license or license pending.

 

The new Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will be employed by the group and will have a strong compensation and benefits package.  They are located in a very desirable Chicago suburb!
