Well-established Board Certified and Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a fulltime Orthopedic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to his team. This doctor has a high volume practice which consists of general and upper extremity cases! This position includes both the clinic and the OR.
Responsibilities include: running an orthopedic clinic, first assist, treating fractures, removing casts and pins, consultation, patient evaluation and education, rounds, reviewing lab results, H&P, writing scripts and pre and post-op follow up. The Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner will also coordinate with the Physical Therapist. Nurse Practitioners must also have an RNFA. There is light call coverage that will be worked out. They are located near the beautiful Quad Cities.
Successful Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner should be experienced in orthopedics and be Board-Certified. They will consider a new graduate with an orthopedic rotation and medical experience (ATC, Ortho Tech, PT and EMT etc.). Compensation: Base salary range: Open, plus a bonus potential. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
