Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full time Physician Assistant. This position includes both the OR and the clinic. The Physician Assistant will work directly with an Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This Physician Assistant will eventually run their own clinic and see both new and follow-up patients. Cases are general and the Physician Assistant should be experienced in injections and fracture management. Responsibilities include: first assist, H&P’s, write scripts, coordinate with PT/OT, consultation, rounding, event coverage and discharge summaries. They are located in a modern facility and have their own PT/OT onsite.
Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified. Preference is for an experienced orthopedic Physician Assistant, but they will train if the Physician Assistant has an orthopedic rotation and is from the region. The location is within 30 minutes to Groton and New London. Salary range is based on experience level and includes an incentive. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
