Occupational Medical Center seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The new PA/NP will treat work-related diseases or injuries (high percentage of orthopaedic injuries), recognizing and resolving workplace hazards, instituting rehabilitation methods, providing well-managed care and working collaboratively with supervising physician on providing effective medical treatment and case management. The PA/NP will also provide continuity of care by developing, documenting and implementing effective medical treatment and disability management.
- Urgent Care
- Evaluation and treatment of work-related injuries
- Pain management/occupational medicine (muscular skeletal evaluations)
- Injections (trigger point and cortisone etc.)
- Employment medical
- Writing scripts
- Patient education
- Evaluate and ordering X-rays, MRI’s and other tests
- Suturing and fracture care
Successful candidate should be certified. The group requires candidates to have direct experience in urgent care of occupational medicine with a California license (or candidates that will receive their license within a short timeframe)! Only candidates from the region will be considered.
