Well-respected Orthopaedic Group seeks additional orthopaedic Physician Assistants to work directly with an Upper Extremity Fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon. This position is a combination of the office and the OR. The group has their own MRI and Physical Therapy Center. This is a state-of-the-art facility with EMR and Digital X-ray. They also have a bio-mechanical lab and conduct advanced research. The newly-hired PA would eventually run an orthopaedic clinic. The new candidate needs to be a self-starter that can hit the ground running!
Responsibilities include: H&P’s, patient evaluation and education, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds, call within a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Previous orthopaedic PA experience is required! The location is in a beautiful area of an upscale suburb of Phoenix. The group prefers candidates that have ties to the Phoenix area. The newly-hired PA will enjoy year-round outdoor living, solid schools, and all the amenities of a great city. There are numerous great golf courses!
